2026-2027 South Paulding High School Prom Policy and Permission Forms

The 2026-2027 South Paulding High School (SPHS) Prom is scheduled for Friday, March 12, 2027, at The College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta from 7:30pm-10:30pm. The Venue Address is : 250 Marietta St. N.W., Atlanta, GA 30313. All SPHS Juniors and Seniors wanting to attend prom may only purchase a total of two tickets, one for themselves and one for a guest. Guests must be in at least the ninth grade to attend and should not be 21 years of age or older. Any SPHS student wishing to bring a guest over the age of 21 must be granted permission by the Principal, Mr. Edward Thomas. Students and guests must be in good standing with the administration to be eligible to attend prom.   

Although we are at The College Football Hall of Fame for prom this year, please know that during the 7pm-11 pm timeframe, students, student bags, and vehicles fall under the same SPHS campus rules and could be included and searched in any investigation to ensure the safety of students and guests. Students using, distributing, possessing or under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be removed from prom and are subject to disciplinary action by the school and local authorities.   

We have a no re-entry policy for prom. Once an attendee leaves the prom, they will not be readmitted. All tickets are final sale, and no refunds will be issued.   

If a student’s guest does not attend SPHS, students must agree to complete and submit the “SPHS Prom Guest Permission Form”. These can be picked up and returned in the front office.

Guest Permission Details:

Please be aware of the following expectations:
  • No guest will be admitted the night of the event without acknowledgement of this statement. 
  • A photo ID is required of guest.
  • All guests must follow the South Paulding High School rules. Please check with SPHS student in advance to comply with SPHS rules and policies.
  • Guest and SPHS student will be asked to leave if there are any problems.
  • Guests must arrive and depart with the student that is hosting them.
  • Once students leave, they will NOT be permitted to return.
  • No use of alcohol or tobacco will be tolerated
  • No sexually explicit dancing will be permitted
  • No Backpacks or large bags allowed.
